Hey, I’m Tiffany. 👋🏽
When I first found my way into infection prevention, I thought I’d be a germ detective—tracking outbreaks, solving mysteries, and saving the day.
But I quickly learned this role is so much more.
One minute it’s construction rounds in a hard hat, the next it’s a boardroom with a blazer and bullet points. Infection prevention touches every corner of healthcare, and we have to flex our style to meet everyone where they are.
We work at the intersection of people, patterns, and problem-solving—trying to change behaviors, lead without authority, and protect lives in systems that don’t always make it easy.
That’s why I started Elevate IPC.
Because this role isn’t just hard work—it’s heart work.
It’s a calling. A mission. And yeah, we’re real-life superheroes.
But I felt something was missing in our superhero preparation.
So I set out to illuminate the human side of this role—the unspoken struggles, the learning curves, and the inner work it takes to evolve into a true change-maker.
